At AgrowNest, we are deeply committed to fostering the next generation of leaders in agriculture. Through our Youth Agro-Entrepreneurship Training program, we provide young people with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the agribusiness sector. In many underserved regions of Africa, youth unemployment rates are alarmingly high, with over 60% of Africa’s youth population under the age of 25 lacking sustainable employment opportunities. By focusing on youth empowerment, AgrowNest aims to turn this challenge into an opportunity for growth and innovation.

Our program goes beyond traditional farming techniques to include comprehensive training in areas such as supply chain management, marketing, and agribusiness entrepreneurship. We teach young people how to manage and optimize resources, market their products effectively, and scale their agribusiness operations. By equipping them with these skills, we are preparing them to create jobs not only for themselves but for others in their communities.

The training program includes both theoretical and hands-on components. Trainees are given the opportunity to work on real farming projects, allowing them to apply their knowledge in practical settings. This experiential learning approach helps them develop a deeper understanding of the agribusiness landscape and prepares them for the real-world challenges they may face. Whether they choose to focus on crop production, livestock farming, or agribusiness management, our program empowers young people to innovate and become key players in the agricultural sector.

By nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, we encourage young people to become problem-solvers who can identify gaps in the market and develop sustainable solutions.
